Bolivar Cigars

Bolivar Cigars, named for the 19th century Venezuelan Revolutionary Simon Bolivar, are one of the most recognizable brands of all Havana cigars.

Bolivars are among the cheapest of the handmade cigars although they do offer some machine made sizes. The handmade varieties are an excellent buy if you like the powerful flavor these cigars pack. Well known as one of the strongest, full bodied havanas these are not for beginners or the faint of heart.

There are also Domincan versions of the Bolivar line available. Though not as popular as their Cuban counterparts these cigars a still of good quality and are definitely a good value. Made with Cameroon wrappers these cigars have a mild to medium flavor. The Dominican blend is available in five different sizes.
