Jamaican Cigars
The Island nation of Jamaica. Well known for its beauty and culture this country is also well by cigar smokers as the source of some truly special cigars.
In 1988 Hurricane Gilbert all but wiped out all of Jamaica's tobacco farms. Most cigar enthusiasts didn't think that Jamaica would be able to recover from this disaster. Weren't they surprised when Robert Gore reported from Jamaica saying he'd seen something that wasn't supposed to exist, fields of cigar tobacco growing in the fertile soil of May Pen, Jamaica.
Tobacco has always been an indigenous to Jamaica, though the Jamaicans learned the art of cigar manufactoring from their neighbors in Cuba.
